It allows us to access our place of healing, the place within us that has always been there, and will always be there. It's just waiting for us to arrive."
Meditation Monday is a class designed to help beginners and experienced practitioners learn how to use different meditation styles and techniques. Just like the many styles of Yoga, there are many ways to practice meditation. Exploring different styles allows you to find what works best for you!
Meditation is not always about sitting and trying to "not" have any thoughts. It's about learning the nature of your thoughts. It's about allowing, recognizing, and surrendering your thoughts in the present moment.
When I first started learning, I never thought I would be able to "do it correctly." I never thought I'd be able to settle down and "stop" thinking. Now, I look forward to what comes up so I can continue to learn and explore the levels and abilities of my mind. -Danielle
